About Me
CHARTERED COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGIST | WIMBLEDON | LONDON
Winner Of the Crea Global Award
I have many years of experience in therapeutic work in different settings such as NHS primary care, and community-based charities. I am trained in different therapeutic modalities:
I work in an integrative manner, adapting the work to your specific needs and the difficulties you bring to therapy because I believe that not one approach works for everyone. Every person is unique and I believe that a therapeutic relationship, which values and respects this uniqueness, is what causes positive change. As a Counselling Psychologist, I work using evidence based approaches, and I am committed to engaging regularly in continuing professional development (CPD).
Being extremely passionate about my work, I feel that it is a real privilege to support someone in their journey of self-discovery. I am extremely interested in the concept of Personal Resilience and in the link between mind and body. I am also interested in helping people connect with their own self, helping them to recognise, accept and embrace their emotions as well as learning to express them in healthier ways. I am very keen on helping people develop a deeper awareness and connection, not only of their minds, but also to their bodies.
